A ton of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leaks and rumors have surfaced in the last couple of weeks, and Samsung has now decided to respond to some of those leaks. The Galaxy Note 9 will be announced tomorrow, and Samsung Chile official website decided to release a press release titled “What to expect from the new Galaxy Note 9”. In that press release, the company refers to three aspects of the Galaxy Note 9, its battery, memory, and gaming.
The company did not reveal what size exactly will the Galaxy Note 9’s battery be, but it does say that it will last you the whole day, even when it comes to intensive use. Samsung was not clear whether it will be a larger battery than the one in the Galaxy Note 9, but there you have it. The company basically confirmed that a 512GB storage variant of the Galaxy Note 9 will become a reality, as it talked about more available storage in the device. The Galaxy Note 8, for those of you who do not know, capped out at 256GB of internal storage. On top of 512GB of internal storage, it’s highly likely that you’ll get an option to expand that storage via a microSD card for an additional 512GB, which means that you could wind up with 1TB of storage in the Galaxy Note 9, which will probably be enough even for most demanding of you out there. As far as gaming is concerned, Samsung basically confirms that Fortnite is coming with the Galaxy Note 9, while the company also hints that the Galaxy Note 9 will be a true gaming beast.
That is more or less everything that Samsung Chile had to say, and even though the company did not flat out confirm any specs for the device, it did reconfirm a memory bump (amongst other things), which was more or less confirmed in the company’s ad that was published by accident. The Galaxy Note 9 will be made out of metal and glass, and it will resemble its predecessor. The device will feature two cameras on the back, and it will ship with 6GB of RAM, and an S Pen stylus. Android 8.1 Oreo will probably come pre-installed on the device, along with the company’s custom UI.
