The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 will probably become official next month, as the Mi MIX 2 arrived back in September last year… and while we’re waiting for the Mi MIX 3 to arrive, the Mi MIX INFLUX concept has surfaced online. This concept design comes from the ‘Designer by Hege’ website, and it shows off a rather interesting smartphone. The source has published this design in both video and photo formats, and both are available below the article.
There are some notable differences between the Mi MIX 2(S) and the Mi MIX INFLUX concept, as the latter’s front-facing camera is included above the display, while Xiaomi included it in the lower-right corner of the Mi MIX 2 and 2S. Dual front-facing speakers are also included on the Mi MIX INFLUX, while a fingerprint scanner sits on the back of the phone, along with two cameras, and a dual-LED flash. This concept device sports really thin bezels all around, though its top bezel is thicker than the one on the Mi MIX 2(S), or at least it seems to be based on the provided video. The phone’s display sports rounded corners, while all of its physical keys sit on the right.
The general shape of this phone is different compared to the Mi MIX 2(S), as it has considerably less curved, its edges are sharper, so, in theory, it should be considerably less slippery than the Mi MIX 2(S). The phone got shown off in Black, Blue, and White colors in the provided video, and that is more or less all the info that the designer released. As already mentioned, this is just a concept device, and it will not become a reality, though it shows a rather interesting blend of designs, and it steps away from Xiaomi’s Mi MIX design language. The real Mi MIX 3 is expected to resemble the Mi MIX 2(S) quite a bit, but its bezels will probably be even thinner.
