Chrooma Keyboard App Gets 'Event Creator' & Various Fixes

Chrooma Keyboard is one of the most popular third-party keyboard apps in the Play Store, and the company has released a new update for the app which brings a number of optimizations, and a new feature. Chrooma Keyboard has been updated to version 2.3, and the most notable changelog entry for this update is the addition of an ‘Event Creator’. This new feature basically allows you to create events directly from Chrooma, and then send them to any app after you do. The shareable snippet which you can create contains a link that allows other people to add the event to their calendar, which is a useful feature if you’re creating events frequently.

Now, in addition to that feature, the company has rolled out a number of fixes / optimizations. Some users have been having issues with app crashes when it comes to Chrooma, and the company says that it worked on the problem, and that it managed to resolve such issues. Image sharing view issues have also been amended by GameLounge, while an issue that was preventing number insertion in the note text field has also been fixed. The company has also fixed the app’s emoji predictor which has been having such issues, while prediction banner in emoji view has also been optimized.

That is more or less everything that GameLounge listed in its changelog. For those of you who do not know, Chrooma is very similar to Gboard, but it comes with a number of additional features, if that’s something you’re interested in. You can edit your keyboard in a number of ways, and it can actually change the color based on the app you’re in at the moment, so, for example, in Hangouts, it will be green-colored, while it will be blue-colored if you’re using Facebook. If that’s something you don’t like, single-color is also available, as is ‘AMOLED’ mode for smartphones with OLED displays. There are a ton of additional options available in the app, and the app is free to use, even though a ‘Pro’ version is also available.
