Kenu Debuts Two Wireless Charging Car Mounts, Priced At $59

Kenu has just announced a couple of new car mounts that are going to be on sale fairly soon. These are the Kenu Airframe Wireless and Airbase Wireless which are two different car mounts that also feature Qi wireless charging. This is going to allow drivers to mount their phone while they are driving, and use it for things like navigation, streaming music and so forth, while also charging their phone. The two wireless chargers are pretty similar, with the only difference being that the Airbase Wireless is a dashboard mount, and the Airframe Wireless is an air vent mount. This is going to allow you to use whichever mount you prefer.

Otherwise, both of these car mounts sport basically the same features. These both use adjustable arms that will hold your phone in place. These are not using magnets because, well it’s doing wireless charging instead. Speaking of wireless charging, this can do up to 10W, which is going to be plenty for those that support fast wireless charging like Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 8 and a few others, as well as Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 2S. But it is also backwards compatible with slower wireless charging for devices like the LG G7 ThinQ, and a few others. For those that have a newer iPhone (iPhone 8 or newer) it does also support 7.5W for fast charging those as well.

Kenu has put a 360-degree joint on these car mounts, which is going to allow the user to adjust the angle, but also use their phone in landscape or portrait, whichever they prefer. That is a really good feature to have, as some people prefer to use navigation in landscape versus in portrait and with these car mounts from Kenu, you can do just that. Both of these are going to be priced at $59.95, and will be available from Amazon shortly.
