Samsung Internet Browser 9.0 Brings A Brand New UI: Download

In Short: Samsung Internet 9.0 browser is now available to download, bringing a new UI to the table. It doesn’t seem like this version is rolling out via the Google Play Store just yet, but an APK did pop up, and a download link is included down below. This update brings a new rounded corner UI, which was spotted in Samsung Experience 10 skin, which is based on Android 9 Pie. On top of that, this update brings a redesigned quick access menu, which allows you to request a desktop site, change text size, turn on night mode, and control all of your Samsung Internet add-ons.

Background: Recently, the Samsung Internet 8.2 beta surfaced, bringing new features like parallel downloading for faster downloads, and Do Not Track mode. In addition to that, Samsung recently introduced the Samsung Internet v7.4 browser, which brought Intelligent Scan, customized Reader Mode, and download history improvements. On top of that, some US-specific changes were introduced in that update, including Samsung’s Quick Suggest feature, which is essentially a personal shopping assistant, and also an optional news service, which means that Samsung Internet can send you notification for breaking news stories. All of those features are also packed into Samsung Internet v9.0, of course, as they were introduced in previous versions of the app.

Impact: Samsung Internet browser has been improving ever since Samsung pushed it to the Google Play Store. Just to be clear, this browser is available on pretty much any Android smartphone, as long as you’re running Android 5.0+. This new update actually makes the browser look even better than before, and the company did push some appealing features to the app recently. If you’re annoyed by Chrome, Firefox, Opera… or whatever other browser you’re using, for some reason, Samsung Internet Browser may be worth checking out. For the time being, you can sideload Samsung Internet 9.0 from the link below.
