Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 Appears In Hands-On Video With Thin Bezels

Xiaomi’s Global Spokesperson and Director of Product Management, Donovan Sung, shared an image of the alleged XiaomI Mi MIX 3 handset a couple of days ago, and now that very same phone appeared in a hands-on video. Mr. Sung did not confirm that we’re looking at the Mi MIX 3, but he did confirm that the phone will become official in October, while giving us a really good look at the phone by sharing a real-life image of it.

Having said that, the device in question comes with a sliding mechanism, in other words, you can slide out some of its sensors and a front-facing camera. This mechanism actually seems to be similar to the one on the OPPO Find X, but unlike the OPPO Find X, rear-facing cameras will not be hidden away in the Mi MIX 3, which means that you will not be required to use the sliding mechanism every time you want to take an image, as long as you’re not utilizing the front-facing camera. You can see this device in action in the provided video down below, this video surfaced in China, and it’s giving us a really good look at the phone and the said mechanism, despite the fact it has a duration of only 10 seconds.

Unfortunately, this video does not show the back side of the phone, but you will probably find two cameras back there, while the phone’s fingerprint scanner will be either located on the back of the device, or underneath the phone’s display. The device will be made out of metal and glass or metal and ceramic, while it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor. The device is expected to launch in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, while it will include a rather large display and battery as well. The Mi MIX 3 will sport a noticeably higher screen-to-body ratio compared to its predecessor, the Mi MIX 2, and it will be on par with the OPPO Find X in that regard, at least based on the provided images.
