In Short: AllAboutSamsung claims to know all the color variants that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be available in. According to the most recent Twitter post, the Galaxy S10 will ship in Black, White, Green, Silver / Gray, and Pink color options. This more or less confirms a post that Ice Universe shared back in August, guessing those very same colors. That is more or less all the info that the source released thus far, though it is worth noting that the availability of these color variants will be market-dependent, as always, so not all colors will be available in all markets.
Background: The Galaxy S10 is still far away from being released, the phone is expected to arrive in the first quarter of next year, quite probably during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, at the end of February, a year after the arrival of the Galaxy S9 series. We still did not see any Galaxy S10 leaks that would reveal a realistic design of the phone, but the company is probably planning to change things around a bit this time around, as the Galaxy S8 and S9 were really similar in terms of the design. Samsung is expected to trim down bezels on the Galaxy S10 even more, while the device probably will not ship with a display notch, same as its predecessors. The Galaxy S10 will probably be available in two SoC variants (market dependent) once again, as the company will look to release both Exynos and Snapdragon models. The Galaxy S10 is expected to arrive with at least 6GB of RAM, and it’s possible that we’ll see an in-display fingerprint scanner built into the phone. Samsung will look to release at least two variants of the Galaxy S10 flagship, the Galaxy S10, and S10 Plus.
Impact: The Galaxy S10 is expected to be a more notable upgrade from the Galaxy S9, than the Galaxy S9 was compared to the Galaxy S8, both in terms of the design and internals. The Galaxy S10 will probably be a 5G ready smartphone, which means that it will be able to take advantage of 5G connectivity once it becomes available (at the end of next year), and that is a significant improvement on its own. More notable Galaxy S10 leaks are expected to start popping up in a month or two, so stay tuned for that.
