Google Play Store Launches Tons Of Amazing Year-End Deals

Google just announced that it opted to discount quite a bit of content on the Play Store in order to mark the end of 2018. All of the deals are active as we speak, and will be live until January 2, so you basically have about two weeks in order to get what you want. These deals are available in pretty much every section of the Google Play Store, ranging from apps and games to movies, TV, books, and audiobooks. All of the newly launched discounts are highlighted below, while you can get more info regarding everything on the Play Store itself.

Now, in terms of apps, there are big discounts for first-time users on HBO, Starz, Picsart, and TuneIn. Having said that, for those of you who do not know, HBO and Starz are streaming services, while Picsart is an image editing app. If you’re into music, and are looking for a solid streaming service, TuneIn is a great option, that’s for sure. If you were thinking of subscribing to any of these services, now may be the best time, as you can get some serious discounts as a first time user. If you’re into games, Google is offering deals on a number of freemium games that are available via the Play Store. You can get value-added bundles and special Holiday content here. Now, these discounts are coming in two waves, in the first week, you can access offers for Clash Royale, Pokemon GO, Final Fantasy XV, Empires & Puzzles, and Lineage 2. In the second week, Google will make it possible to avail discounts in Candy Crush Friends Saga, PUBG, Marvel Contest of Champions, and Summoner’s War.

As far as movies are concerned, you can take advantage of rental and purchase deals featured in the Play Movies homepage on the Play Store and the Play Movies app. Rental deals on offer include Crazy Rich Asians, The Meg, and Adrift. If you’re looking to purchase a movie, both John Wick and The Predator are on offer. If you’re more into TV series, well, there are some on offer in the Play Store as well. You can get top TV seasons at $15 or less, and check out an episode for 99¢. Titles included in this offer are Doctor Who season 11, Legion season 2, and Game of Thrones season 1. And last, but not least, books and audiobooks. The Google Play Store is currently offering up to 80-percent off of both ebooks and audiobooks for top sellers. Audiobook offers include Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs, How to Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan, and Educated: A Memoir by Tara Westover. As you can see, we’ve included a ton of links for you, leading you directly to specific discounts that we have mentioned. If you open up the Play Store’s homepage, however, you will be able to see small cards which promote these discounts, and you will be seeing those for the next two weeks, until these deals are on offer. So, if you’re interested, feel free to grab some discounts, some of those gaming ones look mighty appealing to yours truly.
