Rugged Ulefone Armor X2 Handset Available To Pre-Order For $99.99

The Ulefone Armor X2 is now available for pre-order, Ulefone has announced. Those of you who are interested in purchasing this device can now do that for $99.99, and the link for pre-orders is included below the article, while it is worth noting that you will get a free screen protector along with this phone is you pre-order it, while the company will also include a free UF002 wireless charger. The phone will keep that price tag until December 31, and from January 1 it will rise $3 per day until January 6, so purchasing it before January 1 may be a good idea if you’re planning to do so. In addition to announcing the phone’s availability, the company has also released an official introduction video for the device via YouTube, and that video is embedded down below.

The Ulefone X2 is the company’s entry-level rugged smartphone, and it supports 3G connectivity. It is easy to notice that the Armor X2 is a rugged smartphone, its design reveals that. The phone has three capacitive buttons below the display, overview, home, and back buttons, while it is made mostly out of metal, and it has some sort of rubber-like material on the back in order to be more grippy. This smartphone comes with two vertically-aligned cameras on the back, while it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The phone includes a 5,500mAh battery on the inside, which is one of its main selling points. Facial scanning is also included in the package, and the same can be said for an NFC chip. This smartphone is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, which is to be expected considering it’s a rugged handset.

The phone features a 5.5-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, while it also comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). The phone is fueled by the MediaTek MT6580 64-bit octa-core processor, while you will find 8 and 5-megapixel cameras on the back of this phone. A 5-megapixel camera sits on the front side of the device, while the phone ships with two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM), and we’re looking at a hybrid setup here, which means that you can use one of those SIM card slots in order to insert a microSD card, and expand the phone’s storage.
