Jabra has updated its “Move” line of headphones to provide buyers with a stylish option for 2019. The all-new Jabra Move Style Edition are set to become available later this month through select retailers and will arrive priced at $99 in the US, €99 in Europe, and £79 in the UK.
Jabra first unveiled its Move line of headphones back in 2014 with the headphones designed to be an affordable but reliable set of Bluetooth headphones. The Style version is expected to continue that trend as in spite of the design upgrades, these headphones are priced at exactly the same price as the previous on-ear wireless headphones launched for in 2014.
As part of the upgrading, the new version is becoming available in a variety of new color options that the company refers to as “modern” colors, including Titanium Black, Gold Beige and Navy.
The Move Style Edition are wireless headphones and as a result they do primarily rely on a battery inside to provide on-the-go power, and this is one of the areas in particular where an upgrade can be seen. For example, while the original model provided up to eight hours of music playback, the new version has seen that limit extended to fourteen hours.
At almost double the battery level, for the same price, the new Jarba Move headphones now offer far greater value than ever before.
Consistent with the previous model, the new version also provides the option for users to fall back on a wired mode when the battery runs low thanks to the inclusion of a 3.5mm port and an included cable.
Jabra explained users can otherwise expect a very similar product to the original model including the same emphasis on sound quality, comfort and a lightweight design.
Since the release of the original model, the Jabra Move Wireless has gone on to become a popular option for consumers in the US and the company explained it expects the new version to become equally as popular going forward, and an even better buy thanks to the longer-lasting battery and new color options.
The company’s SVP of Marketing, Calum MacDougall said “we expect the Move Style Edition to become a must-have Bluetooth headphone.”
Jabra announced the new Move Style Edition ahead of the start of CES 2019 in Las Vegas. The announcement was specifically designed to coincide with the event and was not the only headphone-related announcement to come from the company as Jabra also announced the new Elite 85h headphones.
According to Jabra, the Elite 85h headphones are not just smart headphones, but “the smartest ANC headphones on the market.”
The new Move Style Edition and the Elite 85h headphones do represent different lines and aimed at different buyers and price points, although the company is now looking to harmonize the brand across tiered options even more. This can be seen in the color options as both versions are arriving with the exact same colors to choose from.
Jabra is starting 2019 by making it clear that regardless of whether a consumer opts to buy an affordable set of headphones or the company’s best-in-class solution, they can expect a similar Jabra experience overall with an emphasis on sound quality, design, and performance.
