Those of you who have been wondering when will the Samsung Galaxy S10 series become available, well, a leaked image has just revealed that info, at least as far as pre-orders are concerned. If you take a look at the provided image below, you will notice a picture of what seems to be Samsung’s official promo poster.
Now, in the provided image, you will notice that it says February 21 as the Galaxy S10’s launch date, instead of February 20… well, that’s because this poster was shot in Indonesia, so just move the provided dates one day ahead (depending on where you live), and you’ll get the real info here. So, according to this, the Galaxy S10 will launch on February 20, while those devices will become available for pre-order one day after, February 21.
This was actually expected, so it’s not a huge surprise or anything of the sort. It is also worth noting that the Galaxy S10 series will almost certainly go on sale on March 8, based on these dates, two weeks after it becomes available for pre-order. We are assuming this based on previous Galaxy S launches, of course, and it’s almost certainly an accurate assumption.
One more thing that you will notice in the provided poster is a website, GalaxyLaunchPack.com, that is an official website, and you can open it now, but you’ll only find a countdown to the Galaxy S10 series’ launch event, not much more than that.
What To Expect On February 20?
Samsung will launch three of its smartphones on February 20, the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+. Now, the top-of-the-line Galaxy S10+ variant will be a story of its own, as it will support 5G, and will be more powerful than your regular Galaxy S10+ handset, it may even come carrying a different name, the Galaxy S10 X. It remains to be seen if that variant will make an appearance on February 20, but the other three will definitely be there.
The Galaxy S10e will be the most affordable Galaxy S10 model, but it will be fueled by a flagship processor just like the rest of them (Exynos 9820 or Snapdragon 855, depending on the region). The Galaxy S10e will be the only variant of the Galaxy S10 to sport a flat display, and it is expected to sport a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display, quite probably a fullHD+ one. This phone will include 6GB of RAM, two rear-facing cameras, a single front-facing camera, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy S10 will ship with three cameras on the back, and one on the front. It will sport a 6.1-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED, curved display, and both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants will be available. An in-display fingerprint scanner will be included in both the Galaxy S10 and S10+. The Galaxy S10+ will feature a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED, curved display, and that variant of the phone will include 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM, depending on the variant. The 5G-enabled Galaxy S10+ model will include a ceramic backplate, and it will also be larger than the regular Galaxy S10+, at least according to rumors, though it remains to be seen how accurate those rumors are.
