Huawei P30 Series UAG Profiles Appear With Hard-To-Believe Info

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are expected to arrive in March, and some more info regarding these two devices just surfaced. User Agent Profiles of the two devices have been spotted, and have seemingly revealed display resolutions and Android version that will ship on the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro.

The two devices were spotted under VOG-L29 and ELE-L29 model names on the company’s website, and these two devices are allegedly the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. Now, according to user agent profiles, both phones will include fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) displays, which does not really seem to be realistic. The Huawei P20 Pro included a QHD+ display, and it’s not likely Huawei will backtrack and include a fullHD+ panel in its successors. The Huawei P30, on the other hand, will probably include a fullHD+ panel.

Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on both devices, reveal User Agent Profiles, while Huawei’s custom UI will come pre-installed on them, as expected. That is more or less all the info that was revealed by User Agent Profiles, and it’s quite odd they report that the Huawei 30 Pro will include a fullHD+ panel. It is possible, of course, but as already mentioned, not likely, though this info is interesting.

More Huawei P30 & P30 Pro Info

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are rumored to launch at the end of March, during a separate event Huawei is reportedly throwing together. Huawei is announcing its foldable smartphone during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, so the company probably did not want the two announcements to get into each other’s way.

The Huawei P30 and P30 pro will both be fueled by the Kirin 980 64-bit octa-core processor, Huawei’s chip which fuels the company’s Mate 20 flagship smartphones. The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will ship with at least 6GB of RAM, though there’s a good chance that they will be available in 8GB RAM variants as well, at least the Huawei P30 Pro.

The Huawei P30 Pro will be larger than the regular P30 model, and the difference will probably be similar to the difference between the P20 and P20 Pro. The Huawei P20 included a 5.8-inch display, while the P20 Pro shipped with a 6.1-inch panel. Huawei may opt to enlarge those two displays on the P30 and P30 Pro a bit, but the general footprint of the two devices will be quite similar to the P20 and P20 Pro.

Unlike the P20 and P20 Pro, however, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will include considerably smaller notches, as both devices are rumored to sport waterdrop notches, not to mention that the “chin” below the display is also expected to be considerably smaller on the two phones. There’s a good reason for that, the P20 and P20 Pro both included fingerprint scanners below the display, while the P30 and P30 Pro will probably ship with in-display fingerprint readers.

The two phones will ship with multiple cameras on the back, the Huawei P30 is actually rumored to include three cameras on the back, while the P30 Pro will include four, quite probably. Leica’s lenses will once again be a part of the package, while the two devices will be made out of metal and glass.
