Many Of Nokia 9 PureView Specs Confirmed By Android Enterprise Site

A listing on the Android Enterprise website confirms some of the specifications of Nokia’s upcoming flagship smartphone offering, the Nokia 9 PureView. According to the website, the Nokia 9 PureView will feature 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal flash storage. The handset will feature a 6-inch display, and the included image of the device shows that the smartphone will feature a more traditional top bezel that houses the front-facing camera, earpiece, and additional sensors.

This listing confirms that the Nokia 9 PureView will feature support for NFC and fingerprint biometric authentication. The lack of fingerprint sensors in the renders of the Nokia 9 PureView suggests that the handset will feature an in-display fingerprint reader.

The Nokia 9 PureView is the upcoming flagship smartphone offering from HMD Global, and numerous leaks already detailed the design and specifications of the device. According to a leaked promotional material, the Nokia 9 PureView will feature the Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm.

Recent leaks also show that the display of the handset will have a 2K resolution, and this panel can show HDR10 content. Interestingly, the leaked promotional material also suggests that the device will have 6GB of internal flash storage, which could mean that HMD Global may sell different hardware variants of the handset.

The Nokia 9 PureView will also feature a 4,000mAh battery and Qi wireless charging, according to recent leaks. It will also ship with Android 9 Pie pre-installed. Like other Nokia-branded devices, recent reports show that the Nokia 9 PureView will launch as part of the Android One program, which means that the handset will feature a near-stock Android experience and will receive regular software and security updates for two years.

However, the key selling point of the Nokia 9 PureView is the handset’s rear cameras. Earlier renders show that there will be about five cameras on the backside, with two LED flash available as well. These will likely be ZEISS optics, as has been the case with previous Nokia smartphones.

The Nokia 9 PureView will reportedly use the computational photography solution offered by the software firm Light to improve the quality of the images captured by the device. HMD Global claims that owners of the Nokia 9 PureView may take up to five images at the same time, and the multiple rear cameras allow the smartphone to receive as much as 10 times the amount of light captured by a regular color camera sensor found in other handsets. Another software feature of the camera of the Nokia 9 PureView is the ability to adjust the focus of the image through Google Photos.

Recent reports state that HMD Global will launch the Nokia 9 PureView on February 24th, although the device maker will also unveil an updated version of the device that features the latest flagship chipset offering from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855.

Despite the launch date coming pretty quickly, most of the specifications of the Nokia 9 PureView stays a mystery. However, this listing confirms some of the hardware internals included with the handset. Aside from the flagship smartphone of HMD Global, the company will also likely launch other handsets at the event.
