OUKITEL has announced that its C12 handset will become available for purchase starting tomorrow. The company said that between tomorrow and March 5, the phone will be available for only $64.99, after which its price tag will grow a bit, to its regular price.

The OUKITEL C12 is actually a nice-looking smartphone, despite the fact it costs less than $70. This handset includes a display notch, and a rather wide one, but its bezels are not that thick in general. A “chin” is present below the display, while the device also includes two vertically-aligned cameras on the back, below which you’ll notice a fingerprint scanner.
The phone’s branding is included on the back of this phone as well, and the same goes for the dual-LED flash. All the physical keys are located on the right-hand side of the OUKITEL C12, while the phone’s loudspeaker sits on the back.
The OUKITEL C12’s specifications are not that bad, as long as you keep its price tag in mind. This phone comes with a 6.18-inch 996 x 480 display, with a 19:9 display aspect ratio. The device is fueled by the MT6580 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, while it includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage (expandable up to 64GB).
The phone sports 8 and 2-megapixel cameras on the back, while a single 5-megapixel camera can be found on its front side. A 3,300mAh battery is also a part of the OUKITEL C12 package, and it is removable. Speaking of the battery, the phone ships with 5V/1A charger, so you’re not getting fast charging here, but that’s not surprising considering the phone’s price tag.
Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the OUKITEL C12, while the device comes with two nano SIM card slots, and a separate slot for a microSD card. The phone supports 3G connectivity only, and a 3.5mm headphone jack is included on the bottom of the device.
