Samsung’s Galaxy Note10 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year at this point, and those of you who are interested in the device may be interested in checking out DBS DESIGNING’s concept of the device. Do note that this is not a leak of any kind, this is a third-party design, though it is inspired by the Galaxy S10 series, so it may be somewhat close to what the Galaxy Note10 will actually look like.
The source shown this design via YouTube, a YouTube video has a duration of approximately two minutes, and it is embedded down below. As you can see, the device is made out of metal and glass, just like the Galaxy S10 series, and it sports four cameras on the back, just like the Galaxy S10 5G. Those four cameras are horizontally-aligned, and an LED flash is located right next to them, the same goes for a heart-rate sensor. Those four cameras do protrude on the back a bit, and the sides of the phone’s back are curved.
A fingerprint scanner is not visible on the device, as it is located under the display, same as on the Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10 5G. The volume up, down, and power buttons are located on the right-hand side of the device, while a Bixby button sits on the left. A Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of the phone, along with a microphone, loudspeaker, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the phone’s S Pen stylus, which we’ll talk more about in a second.
The phone’s display is curved, while this phone is almost completely bezel-less, there are not notches included on its display, and the same can be said for display cutouts. So, some of you are probably wondering where is the front-facing camera, does it pop-up from the phone’s body… well, it does not.
The designer actually envisioned something really interesting for the phone’s front-facing cameras, they are included on the Galaxy Note10’s stylus, believe it or not. There are two cameras included on the S Pen here, which freed up space on the phone itself, so that it doesn’t have any unnecessary cutouts or notches. This does seem like a rather cool idea, but the question is, is it possible to bring to life and make it practical at the same time.
The source envisioned the Galaxy Note10 in several color variants, including Gray, White, Black, and Blue. That is more or less it as far as this concept design is concerned, as the source did not share any spec info, which is not exactly surprising.
An actual Samsung Galaxy Note10, which is expected to arrive in August, will probably resemble the Galaxy S10 5G quite a bit. The phone will almost certainly ship with four cameras on the back, while the design will probably be changed just a little bit. The phone is expected to include an S Pen stylus, but without any cameras on it, even though that idea is quite interesting.
The Galaxy Note10 will probably include a display cutout for its front-facing camera(s), just like the Galaxy S10 series. The phone is expected to arrive in both Exynos 9820 and Snapdragon 855 variants while it will include at least 6GB of RAM, and a large battery on the inside. The phone will support wireless charging, and it will ship with Android 9 Pie, and Samsung’s One UI Android overlay.
