It seems like DOOGEE is planning to release a new variant of the DOOGEE S90, a more powerful variant. The DOOGEE S90 is the company’s modular smartphone, it’s referred to as “modular” because it comes with a number of modules that the company first mentioned in its crowdfunding campaign, and then shown off during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona this year.
The DOOGEE S90 has not been in the market for that long, and according to the newly-provided info, a more powerful version is right around the corner. That’s not all, though, as some information regarding that new variant also surfaced. If the info is accurate, the all-new DOOGEE S90 will ship with Android 9 Pie, while it will be fueled by the Helio P70 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek. The phone is also said to support 24W fast charging and reverse charging as well, so you’ll basically be able to use it as a wireless charging power bank.
That is basically all the info regarding this new variant that we have, though chances are that it will be identical to the regular DOOGEE S90 in terms of the design, and it will be compatible with all the modules that DOOGEE initially announced.
For comparison’s sake, it is worth noting that the original DOOGEE S90 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo, even though Android 9 Pie update is coming. The device also includes the Helio P60 64-bit octa-core processor, which his plenty powerful, but inferior compared to the Helio P70.
Regular DOOGEE S90 variant and its modules
The DOOGEE S90 is actually a rugged smartphone, which is noticeable based on its design. The phone includes two cameras on the back, and right below them, you will notice a fingerprint scanner.

DOOGEE has introduced quite a few modules for the DOOGEE S90, including the Night Vision, Walkie-talkie, Power, and Game modules, while a 5G module is also coming, confirmed the company a while back.
The Night Vision module is essentially supposed to improve the phone’s photography in low light, while the walkie-talkie module can transform the DOOGEE S90 into a full-fledged walkie-talkie. The company’s Power module comes with a 5,000mAh battery, and when installed, you’ll basically get a 10,050mAh battery to use, combined with the phone’s battery. The Game module is a controller into which you can place the DOOGEE S90, just in case you’re a hardcore gamer.
