Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), a well-known tipster, has just confirmed the design of the Motorola Moto Z4. He shared several renders of the device in a single image, and those renders show the phone from every single angle.
As you can see, the phone will include rather thin bezels, while a tiny dewdrop notch will be included at the top of the display. Inside of that notch, the phone’s selfie camera will be placed, while an earpiece will essentially be a part of the phone’s frame, and placed above the notch.
The phone’s bezels are quite thin, but they are still there, the thickest ones are above and below the display, though even though are fairly thin. The phone’s display sports rounded corners, while all of its physical keys are placed on the right, including the volume up, volume down, and power / lock buttons.
The phone’s rear-facing camera will once again be placed inside of a protruding circle, and protected by a rather sizeable piece of glass, same goes for the phone’s dual-LED, dual-tone flash. Motorola’s logo will sit on the back of the phone as well, and the same goes for a number of POGO pins which are located on the bottom of the phone’s back. Those POGO pins will make it possible for this phone to connect to Motorola’s Moto Mods.
Interestingly enough, the phone’s loudspeaker will be included at the very top of the phone, along with a SIM card tray, and a noise-canceling microphone. On the bottom of the device, you will find a Type-C USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microphone. It seems like Motorola opted to keep a 3.5mm headphone jack, at least on this phone.
Now, regarding the phone’s specs, we’ve seen quite a few rumors thus far. The Moto Z4 is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 670 64-bit octa-core processor, which is Qualcomm’s mid-range processor.
The phone will feature a 6.4-inch fullHD+ OLED display, and it will offer 5G support via a Moto Mod, allegedly. A 48-megapixel camera is expected to sit on the back of this phone, and that camera will use Quad Pixel technology in order to combine four pixels into a single large one, and deliver 12-megapixel photos as a result.
A 25-megapixel camera is rumored to be included on the front side of the Moto Z4, and it will include support for a Group Selfie mode, rumors claim. AI Mode, and Night Vision mode will also be a part of the camera offering on the Moto Z4.
A 3,600mAh battery is said to be included in the Moto Z4 package as well, and the phone will support TurboCharge fast charging. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on the Moto Z4, while Motorola’s Moto Display, Moto Actions… and other apps / services will be included as well. We still do not know how much will the phone cost nor when will it become official, but it is a mid-range phone, so its price tag should not be too high, and the device is expected to become official in the near future.
