Motorola One Vision has surfaced in a number of new images. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will see a number of renders which don’t really leave a lot to the imagination. These renders pretty much confirm both the phone’s design, TurboPower charging, and the phone’s name.
The phone will be made of metal and glass, while it will sport a regular capacitive fingerprint scanner on the back. The device will include extremely thin bezels, and a display camera hole, which will be placed in the top-left corner of the phone’s display.
The phone will include a thin “chin” below the display, and its display will sport rounded corners. The device will include a flat display, but its back will be curved. As you can see, there are two vertically-aligned cameras on the back of the phone, and are placed in the top-left corner.
This handset is expected to become official on May 15, in Brazil, as Motorola had announced a press conference for the said date in Sao Paulo. The device is rumored to include a 6.3-inch fullHD+ display with a 21:9 display aspect ratio (2520 x 1080).
The Exynos 9610 is said to fuel this smartphone, which will make it the very first smartphone from the company to include one of Samsung’s processors. A 48-megapixel camera is said to be the phone’s main camera unit, on the back, while the phone is expected to arrive in both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants.
Speaking of variants, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage options will also become available, it seems, while a 3,500mAh battery will be included in the package. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on this phone, and we’re looking at stock Android here, as this device will be a part of Google’s Android One project.
This phone got certified by the FCC a while back, which confirmed its battery size. The device had surfaced in two color variants thus far, Blue and Copper, both of which you can see in the gallery.
The Motorola One Vision will go on sale in Brazil first, most probably, as it is launching there, but it will spread to other parts of South America, that much is obvious. The phone is also expected to make its way to the US at some point, while it remains to be seen if Lenovo / Motorola plans to offer it in Europe.
The Motorola One Vision’s price tag is still unknown, we haven’t really heard anything about it, but we’re assuming that it will be quite competitive. An affordable price tag is needed for the device to compete in a rather saturated market in South America, as plenty of OEMs started offering their smartphones in the last couple of years.
Truth be said, it’s still less competitive than the US, Europe, China, and India, but it’s getting there. That is probably the reason why Motorola is heavily targeting South America with its smartphones. It is also worth noting that this phone will be relaunched as the Motorola P40 in China, but it will not ship with stock Android.
