Detailed OnePlus 7 Pro Spec Sheet Emerges Ahead Of Launch

A well-known tipster, Ishan Agarwal, has decided to share some more info regarding OnePlus 7 Pro’s specifications. The OnePlus 7 Pro specs have been leaking for a while now, so we already had most of this info, but Mr. Agarwal actually shared a rather detailed look into OnePlus 7 Pro’s specs.

According to the source, the OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 64-bit octa-core processor by Qualcomm, and a 4,000mAh battery will be included in the package, and support OnePlus’ 30W Warp Charge fast charging.

The device will include UFS 3.0 flash storage, and actually become the first smartphone to ship with such storage, along with the OnePlus 7. On the back of the OnePlus 7 Pro, you will be able to find three cameras, 48-megapixel (f/1.6 aperture, OIS), 8-megapixel (f/2.2 aperture, OIS, telephoto), and 16-megapixel (ultrawide-angle lens, PDAF) cameras.

A 16-megapixel camera will be included on the front side of the phone, though hidden away until you call upon it via the phone’s camera application, as the OnePlus 7 Pro will ship with a pop-up selfie camera.

Mr. Agarwal also said that the phone will ship with stereo speakers, and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. The device will ship in three RAM variants, 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM flavors will be available. The 6GB RAM variant will include 128GB of storage, while the 8GB and 12GB RAM options will include 256GB of storage. That’s pretty much everything that he said.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will launch alongside the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G on May 14, at least that’s what is expected to happen. The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are more or less confirmed to arrive on that date, while the 5G variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro is also expected, but we’re not yet sure if it will arrive at the same time as the other two phones.

OnePlus had already confirmed that the phone will not sport IP rating, but that it will be water resistant. The company has also been teasing a higher refresh rate of the phone’s display, even sharing more info about it, while the company’s CEO did confirm that the OnePlus 7 series will ship with UFS 3.0 storage. This actually means that OnePlus 7 devices will be the very first phones to hit the market with UFS 3.0, and that’s kind of a big deal.

Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on all OnePlus 7 phones, while the company’s OxygenOS will be included on top of it, of course. The OnePlus 7 Pro will be almost bezel-less, and it will not include a display notch or a display hole. The OnePlus 7, on the other hand, may resemble the OnePlus 6T and include a waterdrop notch, or it may resemble the OnePlus 7, depending on which leak you opt to believe. In any case, both phones will be made out of metal and glass, and both devices will be quite large due to their display sizes.
