Roland Quandt, a well-known tipster, has just revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will soon be available in two new color options. The source confirmed that the two phones are coming in “Cardinal Red” variants, and he also shared some images of the two phones.
Those of you who have been waiting for these two phones to become available in Red variants, well, you’re in luck, as this is a proper red color. Based on these renders, it doesn’t seem to be a washed out red, or anything of the sort. It remains to be seen how will the color look like in real life, though, of course.
Other than a different paint job, the two phones look completely identical to all the variants that Samsung released thus far. Their specifications will also remain intact, though it’s still not certain in which regions does Samsung plan to release the “Cardinal Red” Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ options.
Samsung may actually officially announce these two handsets soon, considering the timing of Mr. Quandt’s leak. Also, the Galaxy S10e was not mentioned, nor did its image surface, so we’re guessing that only the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will be available in said color option.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ were introduced back in February, along with the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 5G, and Galaxy Fold. The two phones have been available for purchase for quite some time now, and are quite similar in many ways.
The main difference in terms of the design when it comes to these two phones can be seen on the front, as the Galaxy S10 includes a single camera on the front, while the Galaxy S10+ includes two selfie cameras. Those cameras are included in the display, so both devices include display holes.
The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ both include three cameras on the back, and those cameras are horizontally-aligned. Both devices ship with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, while both sport curved displays. The Galaxy S10+ is larger of the two phones, as it sports a 6.4-inch panel, compared to the Galaxy S10’s 6.1-inch display.
Both phones are made out of metal and glass, and both feature minimal bezels. Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on these two phones, while Samsung’s One UI skin comes pre-installed on top of Google’s OS.
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ are currently available in Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Canary Yellow, and Flamingo Pink color variants, at least as far as glass-made variants are concerned.
The two devices include 3,400mAh and 4,100mAh batteries on the inside, respectively, and both devices include 15W wired and wireless charging, not to mention that you get access to 9W reverse wireless charging here as well. Stereo speakers are also a part of the package, and if you’d like to know more about either of the two phones, check out our “The Good” and “The Bad” reviews.
