Amazon's Prime Day Starts July 15 As A Two-Day Epic Parade Of Deals

Amazon made it official this morning. Prime Day 2019 will take place on July 15 and 16, as a two-day “Epic Parade of Deals”.

This year, Prime Day is going to be a full 48 hours, making it the longest Prime Day in history. Things will kick off at Midnight PST on July 15, and run until 11:59PM PST on July 16. In that time, you’ll be able to save big on millions of items. Amazon has said that there will be millions of Lightning Deals, as well as the lowest prices ever on Alexa-enabled devices.

As it is every year, the deals will be everywhere. From smartphones, to paper towels, to TVs and everything in between. Whether you’re looking for some back to school shopping, or just a few essentials that you can get on the cheap, Amazon’s Prime Day will have you covered.

Prime Day is starting even earlier this year though. As Amazon has already kicked started a couple of Prime Day deals. You can get a 43-inch Toshiba 1080p Fire TV today, for just $179. Now it’s a 1080p TV, so not exactly what a lot of people were hoping for. But at $179, this is a pretty good steal, and it would make a great second TV. Or a TV to put in a student’s dorm. This deal will end well before Prime Day though, on June 30. So you’ll want to grab it soon before it’s gone.

This is Prime Day, which means to take advantage, you’re going to need to be a Prime member. Most people are a Prime member already, because it is one of the best deals in tech right now. Even with the price going up to $119/year, you still get an unbelievable value. Not only do you get free two-day shipping (and even one-day shipping in a lot of cities now), but you also get other perks like Amazon Prime Video, Twitch Prime, Prime Music and so much more. It’s really worth checking out.

To get ready for Prime Day, make sure that you have Prime subscription up to date. Or make sure you have signed up for a free trial. Everyone gets a free 30-day free trial (if you haven’t used Prime before), which will last through Prime Day next month. If you are a student, that jumps up to six months for free and the yearly price is half off as well. Making it an absolute steal for students. You can sign up for a free trial here.

As always, AndroidHeadlines will be your source for everything Prime Day. We’ll be here to get you geared up for the big two-day event next month and we’ll also be highlighting the best deals that are available. So make sure you bookmark this page, and also follow us on Twitter. Since those Lightning deals go so quickly, we will be posting those directly on Twitter. And you’ll need to act fast, as those will go very quickly.

Prime Day is basically Black Friday in July, and it’s a great time to get some great steals, without having to wait until November.
