Google Maps
Google Maps is the most popular app from this list, without a doubt. This is Google’s very own application, and for most people, the very best choice when it comes to navigation. The design of the app is great, and the app comes with over 220 countries and territories mapped. You can get real-time traffic information here, and download portions of the map for offline use. Navigation for walking is also available, while public transportation information is also a part of the offering. This app has plenty more to offer.

Waze will keep you informed on traffic, construction, police, crashes, and more, all in real-time Waze will adapt your path based on the road ahead, so that you can avoid traffic, for example. This app also allows you to find the cheapest offers on gas, and it comes with full Android Auto support.

MAPS.ME is also a fairly popular app for navigation, and it’s quite good. You can use this app offline, while the service is completely free. You can use this app while driving, walking, or cycling, it’s up to you. The app even helps you plan your trip, while there are plenty of details listed in MAPS.ME maps.
