UFC 238 is taking place this Saturday, live from The United Center in Chicago, Illinois. This pay-per view is bound to have some pretty great fights, including a couple of impressive main events, on the main card. But how can you watch UFC 238, since it is no longer a traditional pay-per view? There’s only one place to watch it, and that’s ESPN+.
ESPN+ has made some pretty big investments in UFC, and is now the exclusive partner for its PPVs as well as its Fight Nights and some other original UFC programming on the network. And to sweeten the deal, ESPN+ is offering a pretty good promotion for the UFC 238 PPV for new subscribers and current subscribers.
If you are a new subscriber, you’ll be paying $79.99 for the PPV. That’s $54.99 for the PPV and then $20 for a year of ESPN+. Seeing as the streaming service is priced at $5 per month, or $50 per year, you are saving more than half on a year of ESPN+. This makes it a great way to check out the service and see if you really want it. If you are a die-hard UFC fan, then it’s going to be a must-have for you.
On the other hand, current ESPN+ subscribers can order the PPV for $59.99. That is actually good for $5 off of the regular price of the PPV. So current subscribers also benefit from this.
UFC 238 actually starts around 6PM with the early prelims on ESPN+. Then it moves over to ESPN (though you can still watch it on ESPN+) at 8PM for the prelims. With the main card starting at 10PM on ESPN+. The main card is what you’ll be paying for here, as that is the actual PPV.
The main event on this pay-per view includes two title matches. The UFC is looking to fill the vacant Men’s Bantamweight championship when Henry Cejudo faces Marlon Moraes. Then there is the Womens Flyweight title that will be on the line between Valentina Shevchenko and Jessica Eye.
The third fight on the main card features Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone in a Men’s Lightweight bout. This is the only non-title fight on the main card this time around.
Following the main card, ESPN+ will also have a post-show on, to recap everything that happened in UFC 238.
Now what about streaming? Well, ESPN+ is available virtually everywhere. This includes Android smartphones and tablets, Android TV, Google Chromecast, Apple iPhones, Apple TV and iPads, Amazon Fire TV & Fire Tablets, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Roku as well as select Samsung and LG Smart TVs. So no matter where you are, you’re going to be able to stream UFC 238. As it is available on smartphones, tablets, PCs and TVs.
You can order the UFC 238 PPV from ESPN+ using the link below. If you’re not a current subscriber you will be forced to pay the $79.99 that comes with a year of ESPN+. Which is going to be more than worth it, especially if you are a big UFC fan, or just a sports fan in general. It’s a good idea to purchase the PPV now, instead of waiting til the last minute.
