OUKITEL has just announced that it will release a new phone soon. The name of the device is the OUKITEL C15 Pro, and it will cost only $75. OUKITEL did reveal the phone’s design and partial specifications, so we have plenty of information on the phone already.
As you can see in the provided images, the device will feature a “chin” below the display, and a waterdrop notch at the top of its display, its display will sport rounded corners, while a fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back. Two vertically-aligned cameras will be placed in the top-left corner of the device, and OUKITEL’s logo will sit on the back as well. An LED flash will sit in-between the phone’s rear-facing cameras.
This smartphone will be on offer in three color variants, Black, Purple, and a gradient variant which combines Black and Blue colors (called Twilight). Now, as far as specifications go, we do not have all the details just yet, but the company did share the most important information.
The device will feature a 6.088-inch display with a 19:9 display aspect ratio. The phone will also feature an 85.5-percent screen-to-body ratio, and its display will be protected by Asahi Glass 2. MediaTek’s Helio A22 64-bit quad-core processor will fuel the device, and that chip is also known as the MT6761.
The OUKITEL C15 Pro will feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. 8 and 2-megapixel cameras will be located on the back of this device, while a single 5-megapixel unit will be included on its front side.
In addition to a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, the device will support facial scanning, and it will use its selfie camera in order to scan your face. A 3,200mAh battery will be a part of the package as well, and the company claims that it will be more than enough to get you through a day’s worth of use.
Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on the device, and you can expect to see a rather light version of Android, with some additions by OUKITEL. The company said that the phone will become available in early July, and that it will cost exactly $74.99 once it goes on sale.
OUKITEL is expected to release full information regarding this smartphone soon, maybe even before the device goes on sale, though it’s possible that the full info will be released the day when pre-orders open, we’ll see.
