OUKITEL has just announced availability details for its new budget smartphone, the OUKITEL C16 Pro. The company says that this is an ideal phone for those of you who are on a tight budget, as it offers quite a lot for the asking price.
This smartphone will become available for pre-order on June 11, and it will cost only $89.99 during the pre-order period. The phone’s regular retail price tag is $99.99, which means it will be quite affordable even once it goes on sale.
Considering the price tag, the OUKITEL C16 Pro actually looks really nice. This phone comes with a “chin” below the display, a teardrop notch, and fairly thin bezels for such an affordable device.
On the back, you will notice two vertically-aligned cameras in the top-left corner, and below those two sensors sits an LED flash. A rear-facing fingerprint scanner is also a part of this offering, while the company’s branding is present on the back of the device as well.
The OUKITEL C16 Pro features a 5.71-inch HD+ display (1520 x 720, 86-percent screen to body ratio, 19:9 aspect ratio), while it is fueled by the MediaTek MT6761P quad-core processor. The device includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage, while in addition to a fingerprint scanner, it also supports facial scanning.
A 2,600mAh battery is also a part of this package (and it is removable), as is Android 9 Pie which will come pre-installed on this device. This smartphone actually comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and it also includes two SIM card slots. A SIM card slot is separate here, so you can use both SIM card slots and an SD card at the same time.
8 and 2-megapixel cameras are located on the back of the OUKITEL C16 Pro, while a single 5-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side. A micro USB port is included on the bottom of the device for charging purposes, while the device does support 4G LTE, which is a bit surprising at this price tag.
The device will go on sale in two color variants, Purple and Black, while it is 9.5mm thick. The phone is 146.4mm tall, and 70.3mm wide, in case you were wondering. There you have it, that is pretty much everything we know about the OUKITEL C16 Pro thus far.
