Ulefone Announces "Super-Budget" Note 7P Smartphone

Ulefone is planning to release a new smartphone in the near future, the Ulefone Note 7P. This will be a “super-budget” smartphone, as the company phrased it, and it will be able to connect to 4G networks.

The company launched the Ulefone Note 7 a while back, but that device supports only 3G connection, and that is something that the Ulefone Note 7P will rectify, as this will essentially be an upgraded version of the Ulefone Note 7.

The company already listed the device on its official website, along with all the necessary details regarding it. The phone will basically sport the Ulefone Note 7’s design, which means that it will sport a waterdrop display notch, and a “chin” below the display. Its bezels will be quite thin for a budget smartphone.

Three cameras will be included on the back, along with an LED flash, and a regular, capacitive fingerprint scanner. All the physical keys will be included on the right side of this phone, including the volume up, volume down, and power / lock buttons.

We still do not know the phone’s price tag, but if it will be as affordable as Ulefone says, then its specs are actually not bad. The phone will be fueled by the Helio P22 SoC, MediaTek’s processor which fuels the Xiaomi Redmi 6A.

The device will include a 6.1-inch 1280 x 600 display with a 19.2:9 display aspect ratio. This phone will sport 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card).

A 3,500mAh battery will be included on the inside of the phone, and it will be able to provide you with 365 hours of standby time, and 20 hours of talk time. Fast charging will not be included, this phone will support 5V/1A charging.

On the back, you’ll find an 8-megapixel, and two 2-megapixel cameras, while a single 5-megapixel unit will sit on the device’s front side. The phone’s fingerprint scanner can unlock the device in 0.1 seconds, says the company, while its facial scanning can do the same in 0.2 seconds.

Bluetooth 5.0 will be a part of this package as well, and the same can be said for a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will include two SIM card slots, one nano SIM and micro SIM slot. A screen protector will ship with the device, by the way.

Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on this smartphone, and the phone will measure 156.1 x 73.7 x 9.7mm, while it will ship in Black, Gold, and Twilight color options. It is also worth noting that it will sport a single speaker, and that speaker will be placed on its back.

The company also released an official promo video for this phone, and that video is embedded down below. If you’d like to know more about the phone itself, you can also visit the company’s official website, a link to the Ulefone Note 7P’s listing is included down below as well.
