Top 7 Best Android Premier League Apps – 2019

A new season of the Premier League is about to kick off in less than two weeks. It will surely be interesting to see if Manchester City will be able to retain the title, or will Liverpool be able to win the competition after a long, long time.

These are not the only two teams competing, of course, challenges from Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal are also expected, amongst others. Having said that, we’ve prepared a list of our favorite soccer / football applications for the Premier League.

Some of these apps are Premier League exclusive, others are not. Before you start browsing, do note that this list consists out of applications only, games are not included here, we’ll do a separate list for those. Also note that these apps are not listed in any specific order.

Premier League – Official App

Premier League is the official application for the competition. This app is filled with content, not only will you be able to access the latest Premier League-related news, which include all teams that are in the competition, but you’ll be able to get detailed information regarding specific teams and players. On top of that, full management of your fantasy football team is included in this application as well.

SofaScore

SofaScore is, without a doubt, one of the most popular live score applications in the Play Store, if not the most popular one. This app does not limit itself exclusively to the Premier League, nor soccer / football in general, as a ton of other sports are available. The app can deliver tons of news, live scores, statistics, and plenty of other Premier League-related information, though. You can also access detailed player and team information via this app, while push notifications are a part of the package.

EPL Live

EPL Live is an app which focuses exclusively to the Premier League. This app delivers the Premier League scores and statistics, and it does that using a rather simple UI. You’ll also be able to access play-by-play match commentary via this app, in addition to match stats, player stats, team stats, and shot maps. Player-specific stat sheets and shot maps are available here as well.

FotMob

FotMob, much like SofaScore, is a very popular application for keeping you up to date on what’s going on during matches in various soccer leagues around the world. This app focuses only on soccer, though, but it does a great job along the way. The UI is great, there’s plenty of info included in the application in form of stats and whatnot, not to mention that play-by-play commentary is also included here. You will find a ton of info regarding specific teams and players here as well.

Goal.com

Goal.com is one of the world’s most popular soccer-focused news outlets, and the company’s app is actually really good. If you want to have just one app on your phone to keep you up to date on soccer-related news, Goal.com is a good bet. The company is constantly pushing out news via this app, transfer news, and general ones, while you’ll find match reports here, match stats, and so on.

Live Scores for Premier League 2019/2020

This is probably the least known application from this list, as it’s fairly new and hasn’t really been downloaded that many times, but it’s really good. If you’re looking for a fairly simple live score app, that is focusing strictly on the Premier League, and it doesn’t require you to filter out all the other league, this may be the way to go. The layout here is extremely simple, and you’ll get all the basic info that is needed.

Goal Live Scores

Goal Live Scores app comes from the same company behind Goal.com application. This app, however, focuses on live scores, as its name says. The app had its fair share of issues at first, but it’s really compelling nowadays. It delivers score info fast, while it also offers tons of additional content in the form of statistics, team and player info, news and so on. The app does support push notifications, so that it can keep you up to date every time a goal is scored.
