CHUWI MiniBook Gets Active Stylus Option On Indiegogo

The CHUWI MiniBook Active Stylus option has now been unlocked on Indiegogo. The company has been collecting funds for the CHUWI MiniBook for a while now, and promised that if the collected funds cross $650,000, that an active stylus option will be included. Well, the company has collected over $700,000 at this point, so the option is there.

This stylus brings 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity to the CHUWI MiniBook, and makes it far more usable than a passive stylus. That’s not all, though. CHUWI also said that such a stylus will be included for free if collected funds cross $800,000, which can still happen.

At the time of writing this article, the company managed to collect $700,790 from 3,154 backers. The campaign is still not over, as there are four days left for you to back the project. Interestingly enough, the initial goal for this product was $25,508, so tips went above and beyond what CHUWI was requesting. At the time of writing this article, the company managed to collect 2,747-percent more funds that it needed to kick off the production.

Moreover, if the company collects over $1,000,000 in the next four days, every backer will also get a free multi-port USB-C hub. The active stylus on its own is worth $14.99, while the multi-port USB-C hub is worth $29.99.

You can also get a bag for the device below its price tag as we speak. The EVA bag for the CHUWI MiniBook is now 50-percent off, as it costs only $9.9. This is limited to 100 pieces, though, so keep that in mind. The price will go up after those initial 100 pieces have been sold.

For those of you who do not know, the CHUWI MiniBook is actually a hybrid laptop. This laptop can serve you as a laptop, or as a tablet, depending on your usage needs. It comes with a full keyboard attached to it, but if you rotate it all the way across, it becomes a tablet.

This device is fueled by the Intel Core m3 processor (m3 8100Y), and it includes 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The device is also equipped with 128GB of storage, and features an 8-inch fullHD display.

The CHUWI MiniBook also supports M.2 SSD expansion, and a Type-C USB port. A 2-megapixel camera is included on its front side, while a micro HDMI port is also a part of the package.

The company also included a Type-A USB 3.0 port, and a Type-A USB 2.0 port here. The device weighs 1.46lbs, and measures 201 x 128 x 19mm. Windows 10 comes pre-installed on the CHUWI MiniBook.
