If you’re anything like me, you’re having issues remembering everything you need to do on a given day. In fact, I usually have a ton of stuff to do on a weekly basis, so remembering everything can be a struggle. That’s where to-do apps come in.
Finding a perfect app to help you remember everything is a good idea. That being said, I’ve been using quite a few apps which allow you to create to-do lists over the years. They helped me quite a bit in the organization department, and I do hope they’ll be of use to you as well.
In the list down below, you will find eight great to-do apps for Android. Each of these apps can help you become more organized, though each of them has something different to offer. Not only do they offer different sets of features, but also different designs.
These apps are not listed in any specific order, by the way. If you’re still not using a to-do list app, or are trying to find a better one, read on.
Todoist
Todoist is one of the most popular to-do list applications, and for a good reason. This app is holding a 4.7-star rating in the Play Store, and it offers plenty of features. This is your full-fledged work and life organizer. It can serve you as a goal tracker, daily planner, habit tracker, while it has reminders built-in as well. You can create regular to-do lists with this app, and the UI design is really clean.
Microsoft To-Do
Microsoft To-Do is Microsoft’s very own to-do app. This app offers a really nice UI design, and it has a similar purpose as Todoist. It will help you organize your day, while a full task manager is included as well. You can color-code your lists, and the app allows you to differentiate between school, work, and personal lists. Create to-do lists for any purpose, whether it’s your bill planner, shopping list, regular notes… or whatever else.
To Do List – SplenDo
If you’re looking for an extremely simple / basic to-do list app, SplenDO is for you. This application allows you to create regular to-do lists with reminders. It comes with a really useful widget that you can place on your homescreen. The app also offers syncing with Google, if that is something you need. On top of everything, this app allows you to create voice notes, and it offers great UI design. SplenDO combines blue and white colors, and the design looks really clean.
Any.do
Any.do has been around for a long time, and is one of the best to-do apps out there. This app allows you to create to-do lists for personal use, though you can create ones for business use and share them with your coworkers. You can set categories and priorities for your lists, and organize subtasks for them as well. Reminders are included in the package as well, as is color-coding.
Google Keep
Google Keep is Google’s very own application. This app serves as a notes and to-do list app, and it does that really well. The app offers great design, and both light and dark modes. You can choose between two layout options for your notes and to-do lists, while you can tag specific notes as well. Color-coding is available in this application as well, and the same goes for voice notes.
TickTick
TickTick is yet another simple to-do list app which serves as a daily planner. This is a rather powerful app, it allows you to add tasks and even manage shared projects. You can organize to-do lists with projects, tags, priorities, and date. TickTick even allows you to organize lists with folders, and you can also add voice notes if that is what you need. Reminders are included in the mix as well.
Wunderlist
Wunderlist has been around for a long time, and it is currently holding a 4.7-star rating in the Play Store. This is a really powerful planner app, which includes your regular to-do lists. Project sharing is enabled here, so you can actually invite other people to collaborate with you. You can attach photos, PDFs, presentations, and much more to your tasks. Reminders are included in the app as well, same goes for widgets.
Google Tasks
Google Tasks is an app whose goal is to help you get things done. This app allows you to create task lists, including to-dos, and you can view them and edit via basically any device. You can manage tasks created in Gmail or Google Calendar using this app, while it has support for subtasks as well. Push notifications are a part of the package, along with reminders. The design of this app will appeal to most people as well, if you appreciate Google’s Material Design.
