The Nokia 9 PureView was announced back in February this year. The phone was supposed to arrive much sooner, but the company faced a number of delays. The Nokia 10 PureView is not expected to arrive anytime soon, but a concept design of the device appeared online.
This design was shared by the Concept Creator YouTube channel. This YouTube channel had shared a ton of smartphone concept designs in the past, and they usually look really good.
Do note that this is not a leak of any kind. This is just a third-party concept design from the mind of its creator. The real Nokia 10 PureView will not look like this, if it ever sees the light of day.
The Nokia 9 PureView was underwhelming, will its successor change that?
The Nokia 9 PureView did not really do all that well in the market. All those delays, and initial software issues the phone faced, took a toll on its sales. This phone was supposed to be the ultimate camera smartphone, but that did not happen.
Will the Nokia 10 PureView manage to change that? Will it be a smashing success for HMD Global? Well, we’ll have to wait and see. Until then, let’s check out this concept design, shall we.
The phone shown here is made out of metal and glass, just like the Nokia 9 PureView. The phone comes with a camera oreo on the back, and it actually reminds us of the Nokia Lumia 1020.
That camera setup includes six cameras, with Carl Zeiss lenses. What seems to be a xenon flash is included next to those cameras, while Nokia’s logo sits on the back of this device as well.
The designer envisioned two 12-megapixel RGB cameras on this phone, in addition to two 12-megapixel monochrome units. On top of that, one camera with a 130-degree ultra-wide-angle lens is also included here. The sixth camera on the back is meant to be video-oriented.
The power / lock, volume up, and volume down buttons sit on the right-hand side of the device. You will notice one extra button on that side, in the bottom portion. The designer envisioned a physical shutter key here as well.
Eight cameras in tow
This imaginary smartphone has bezels above and below the display, but those bezels are quite thin. A display notch / hole is not included here, while there are two cameras above the phone’s display. So, the device has eight cameras overall.
The designer envisioned a 6.4-inch 90Hz QHD AMOLED display here, with HDR10+ support. This concept phone is shown in four color variants in this video. The phone comes in Black, Green, Red, and Cyan color options.
That is pretty much everything that got shared in the provided video. This device is reminiscent of the Nokia 9 PureView, and if the Nokia 10 PureView ever becomes a thing, it may at least resemble this phone, who knows.
