OnePlus 7T Pro Is Not Coming To The US: Tipster

OnePlus will introduce two new flagships soon, and one of them won’t make it to the US. Well, at least according to the tip. Max J., a well-known tipster, says that the OnePlus 7T Pro won’t reach the US.

The tipster shared this information via Twitter. He says that the OnePlus 7T will make its way to the States, though. This is actually a similar strategy OnePlus pulled with the OnePlus 7 series, but the other way around. Let me explain.

OnePlus introduced the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro back in May. The company announced that only the OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in the US, which is exactly what happened.

This time around, the smaller OnePlus 7T handset will make its way to the States. Truth be said, the OnePlus 7T will be a little bit smaller than the OnePlus 7T Pro, at least according to rumors / leaks. Both of these smartphones leaked a number of times thus far. Both their design and specifications surfaced, so we know exactly what to expect, pretty much.

“Pro” model

The OnePlus 7T Pro will be almost identical to the OnePlus 7 Pro in terms of the design. The phone is said to feature new glass on the back, fingerprint-repelling glass. Other than that, though, it will be the same as the OnePlus 7 Pro, at least according to rumors / leaks.

The phone will include a brand new chip, though. It will ship with the Snapdragon 855 Plus out of the box. The display will remain unchanged, it will feature a 6.65-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate.

The phone will include 8GB of RAM (12GB of RAM is also a possibility), along with three cameras on the back. It will feature 48, 8, and 16-megapixel rear cameras.

A 4,085mAh battery will also be included, along with Warp Charge 30T Fast Charging. Android 10 will come pre-installed, along with a new version of OxygenOS.

The OnePlus 7T is the real upgrade

The OnePlus 7T, on the other hand, will be a considerable upgrade from the OnePlus 7. This smartphone is said to sport a 6.55-inch fullHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate.

In comparison, its predecessor features a 6.4-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display with 60Hz refresh rate. That display will be flat, by the way. It’s actually quite weird that OnePlus is planning to release two phones which will be so similar in terms of size.

The OnePlus 7T will also be fueled by the Snapdragon 855 Plus, and it will retain the waterdrop display notch. The phone will include (8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage.

A 3,800mAh battery will be a part of this package, along with Warp Charge 30T Fast Charging. This handset will also ship with three rear cameras, 48, 12, and 16-megapixel units. It will also include essentially the same software as the OnePlus 7T Pro.
