Popular turn-based rpg Overhit just went through a pretty big content update and has added three powerful new characters to its roster of playable heroes.
The update to the game went live for players today, so anyone should already have it. It will also be available on both Android and iOS platforms. So, no matter where you play, you can take advantage of the improvements.
The new Overhit characters are SSR+ tier heroes
If you’re big into this game and you try to collect as many heroes as you possibly can, you will probably want these three.
Each new hero is ranked as an SSR+ tier hero. Which is better than many that will be initially available at the start of the game and beyond. The three new heroes that were added are Diane, which is a fire-type hero, Snow White, a water-type hero, and Habub, a wind-type hero.
Each new hero has her own abilities. However, the most unique of the three is probably Habub. This is because she takes on the role of a Tanker class. The other two meanwhile are both support role characters, which means they will probably be more similar.
Both Diane and Snow White do use different elements though, so each will still be just as useful in their own right.
The arena system now includes a selective matching feature
The new heroes aren’t the only thing being added in this update. Nexon has put in a new feature for the arena system that is referred to as selective matching.
What this allows you to do is take a look at player rankings before starting an arena match. The point behind it is so people can select their opponents based upon these rankings.
If you’re having a particularly hard time in the arena, this would be an easy way to potentially select some less difficult opponents. Or if you want more of a challenge, you could select opponents with better rankings.
In addition to the new selective matching system the arena also now has a wind-type exclusive battle. Players who rise up in the ranks of this arena have a chance at some rewards. So far it looks like these rewards will be just medals, but those might be usable for other things.
It’s also unclear what rank you have to hit before any medals are earned. A couple of other changes players will notice are the elemental growth system, and balances to the exploration within the game. For the exploration balances, difficulty and reward levels have been improved.
As for the elemental growth system, players can now activate elemental levels and open up new passive skills for their characters.
