These are only our favorite cloud storage apps, there are many more available in the Play Store. We tried to list all the most popular ones, and add some bonus ones that you may be interested in. Do note that these apps are not listed in a specific order.
Dropbox
Dropbox is one of the most popular cloud storage applications for Android. This service has been around for a long time, and the same goes for its app. The app is quite functional, and it allows you to do pretty much everything a web UI would. Dropbox offers 2GB of free storage, but you can also sign up for a Dropbox Plus free trial (2TB of storage). Dropbox Plus does offer a lot of functionality if you opt to become a subscriber.
Google Drive
Google Drive may even be the best-known cloud storage service for most of you. This is Google’s very own service / app, and it offers 15GB of free storage from the get-go. You can easily grab more storage if you need to, as payment plans are not too expensive. The app is extremely functional and it ties in with Google Docs, so it’s a perfect combination if you use Google Docs.
Microsoft OneDrive
Microsoft OneDrive is Microsoft’s very own cloud storage service, formerly known as SkyDrive. The app itself looks great, it’s flat, and using it is not a problem at all, as the UI design is spot on. Box is one of the best-rated cloud storage apps out there. This app has also been around for a long time, and it comes with a great UI. You get 10GB of free cloud storage with Box registration, and Box can store pretty much anything. You can print documents directly from Box, and share your files with other people. You can preview 200+ file types in Box.
Amazon Drive
Amazon Drive is Amazon’s very own cloud storage solution. It also comes with a nice-looking UI, and 5GB of free cloud storage. You can upload photos, videos, documents, and various other files to Amazon Drive. Previewing photos, videos, PDFs, and various other documents is not a problem either. This app has a search functionality built-in, and it allows you to download files easily.
FolderSync
FolderSync makes it easy to manually sync your phone’s files with your cloud storage. So, if you want, for example, to keep a specific folder in your phone synced, this app can do that for you. You can select a specific destination within your cloud storage where you want the file to be synced to. You also have full control over sync frequency as well, you can even set it to manual, if you want.
