Android 10 With One UI 2 Beta Coming Soon To The Galaxy S10

Samsung is not really the first company we think of when timely Android updates are concerned. The company has been trying to improve lately, though, and it seems like the Galaxy S10 will get Android 10 beta software soon.

The company has shared a new image on Samsung Community forums, in some countries. This banner surfaced in the US and South Korea, and it confirms that Android 10 beta software is on its way to the Galaxy S10 series.

Furthermore, Samsung specifically notes that it is coming to the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+. In the Korean version of this banner, the Galaxy S10 5G is also mentioned. So the whole Galaxy S10 series will get it soon.

Samsung also notes that its One UI 2 Beta software will be pre-installed on top of Android, as expected.

If you’d like to join the One UI 2.0 Beta program, and get this software on your Galaxy S10, all you need to do is register to the Samsung Members community.

Do note that you need to live in the region for which you’re registering, as in having the device that you bought there. The “Samsung Member” app comes pre-installed on Samsung’s devices, by the way, so registering should be fairly easy.

Now, do note that registrations are still not possible. They will open soon, and Samsung will announce when via its official forums, which you can access via that app.

Also note that there are a limited number of spots for beta testing. Once enough people register, and get One UI 2 Beta on their devices, you won’t be able to do the same. In other words, be ready to enroll once Samsung announces everything.

The Galaxy S10 series was launched earlier this year, as most of you know. Samsung had introduced those four devices back in February.

The Galaxy Note 10 series is expected to join the beta program soon

The Galaxy Note 10 series is the newest flagship smartphone series Samsung announced. Those devices arrived back in August, and will probably join this beta program in the near future.

As part of One UI 2 Beta, you’ll get a number of stock Android 10 features, with some additions from Samsung, of course. Google’s navigation gestures may be included in the package, and the same goes for a system-wide dark mode.

Samsung’s One UI has actually been quite a solid offering, miles better than TouchWiz and Samsung Experience UI. It remains to be seen what will version two bring.
