Blizzard has launched the next chapter in the Tombs of Terror solo adventure. Which chapter is that exactly? Chapter 4. This is the second to last chapter of the adventure. The fifth and final chapter will be going live later this month.
If you play Hearthstone, the chapter should already be live for you, but only if you purchased it, as only the first one was available at no cost.
Tombs of Terror chapter 4 takes place in the Halls of Origination
Each chapter of the adventure is taking place in a separate location. In this case, chapter 4 is taking place in the Halls of Origination.
Other than some slightly different aesthetics to the gameboards, the Halls of Origination offers one major feature that sets it apart from other chapters. That would be the Plague of Wrath.
The big thing here is that Plague of Wrath will infect your minions, and this can be both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because once you and your minions take damage, your minions gain +1 to their attack. This will help boost your damage output when attacking your foe.
On the flipside, your enemies minions will gain +1 attack when they take damage from you or your minions. So be wary about this particular detail as it could end up being your downfall if you aren’t careful and strategic.
Be ready for a challenge at the end of the adventure
Blizzard is keeping its lips shut pretty tight about what the end of the chapter has in store. It has however shared a tidbit about what players can expect.
According to the company the League of E.V.I.L. has a trick up their sleeves. That trick will seemingly translate into some sort of challenge that players will have to overcome upon completing this chapter of the adventure.
That being said, Blizzard hasn’t said what that challenge may be. What’s more is that it’s really only hinting that their is a challenge to complete. Taking this into consideration, it would be easy to assume that there may be no challenge at all.
Rest assured though, there is a challenge. And you will want to be prepared for whatever comes your way. If you haven’t yet done so, Blizzard has made it possible to grab chapters two, three, and four of the Tombs of Terror Hearthstone adventure in-game.
You can do so by grabbing each one individually, or through a bundle which gives you all chapters. The bundle of course is the least expensive way to go.
