The fabric cases that Google releases alongside the Pixel smartphones are always pretty good looking, and this year the Pixel 4 is no different.
Famed leaked, Ishan Agarwal, has just posted a couple of images on Twitter, of the fabric cases for both the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL.
The colors appear to lineup with the devices themselves. There’s a black colored case, along with a blue one which looks really good for the Clearly White Pixel 4. Then there is a grayish one with an orange power button and Google logo, obviously for the Oh So Orange Pixel 4.
Google’s fabric cases aren’t cheap, but they are well-made
Google always releases new fabric cases with each Pixel. And while they aren’t cheap, they are well-made.
These fabric cases are usually priced at $39.99, and we wouldn’t expect that to change to much this year. But the saying, “you get what you pay for” definitely applies with these.
They are well-made cases, that do a really good job at protecting your Pixel. Though, the only downside is that there isn’t much of a lip for the screen. So that if you do drop the phone, you’re likely going to break the screen still.
Unlike with the Pixel 3a, it does look like the Pixel 4 fabric cases aren’t opened at the top. Now it was opened on the Pixel 3a, because of the headphone jack up there. And of course, there’s no headphone jack on the Pixel 4.
Everything will be revealed tomorrow
On October 15, Google is revealing everything there is to know about the Pixel 4. At its annual Made By Google event in New York City.
Not only will the Pixel 4 be announced, but we are also expecting a number of other hardware announcements. Including the Nest Mini, Nest WiFi, Pixelbook Go and much more. It’s going to be a pretty heavy hardware event. As it always is with Google.
Of course, the Pixel 4 is going to be the main attraction, as it always is. We’ve already seen pretty much everything there is to know about the Pixel 4, so there may not be any surprises on that front.
But Google always has one or two things up its sleeves for these events. So it’s still going to be an interesting one.
