For those craving a British Royal Family fix, there’s the True Royalty TV streaming service.
True Royalty TV launched in 2018 and is a streaming service completely dedicated to the British Royal Family.
The service is available to users in the U.S. and is priced at $5.99 per month.

True Royalty TV claims to be the “world’s only on-demand TV service dedicated to royalty.” In other words, it’s positioning itself as a Netflix for Royal Family lovers. While the service is currently fixated on the British Royal family, that might change in the future.
True Royalty TV says its grander plan is to “expand to other monarchies over time.” No further information was provided on which monarchy will be next in line to the TV throne.
This royal dedication includes original programs and in some cases, shows with a focus on the U.S.
For example, the next major original program to debut on True Royalty TV will be Meghan for President? The documentary asks whether Meghan’s “fame and power” can help her run for the highest office in the U.S.

While this is still a fairly low-key streaming service compared to other streaming services, it is one that’s fairly well supported at the device and platform level. Besides accessing True Royalty TV via a web browser, there’s also apps available for Android, iOS and Amazon Fire TV.
The service can also be accessed in the U.S. by Comcast Xfinity customers.
In addition to the UK and the U.S., device owners can subscribe to the royal TV streaming service in Australia, Canada and Ireland.
If $5.99 feels a bit rich for a streaming service like this – and especially considering Disney+ is due to launch next month for just $1 more per month – you can save some money by signing up on an annual basis.
True Royalty TV costs $59.99 when paid yearly. This represents a saving of $12 per year – equivalent to two months for free.
And yes, True Royalty TV does come with a free trial with those interested allowed to test out the service for seven-days before committing to pay. However, you will need to create an account and provide credit card details before accessing the free trial.
The Android app is available to download from the Google Play Store for free. While the Android app has yet to gain Android TV support, it does come with Chromecast support.
