The Samsung Galaxy S11 rumors and leaks have been coming for a while now, and the phone’s front panel just surfaced as well. You can check it out in the gallery down below.
Galaxy S11 front panel leak confirms centered selfie camera hole
As you can see, the cutout for the display camera hole is included here, and this panel is curved. That is something we expected, as the Galaxy S11 series appeared in renders already.
All Galaxy S11 flagships will include a curved display next year, it seems. Not only that, but all of them will ship with a centered display camera hole, as shown in an image below.
That display camera hole will be a bit smaller than the one on the Galaxy Note 10, even though this image may not present that in the best fashion.
The Galaxy S11 front panel leak also suggests that the device will have a really minimal ‘chin’ below the display. That bezel will be only a hair thinner than the rest of the phone’s bezels.
This front panel could belong to the Galaxy S11e, as it seems to be quite compact. The Galaxy S11e will be the smallest S11-branded flagship, at least according to rumors.
The device will sport a considerably larger display than its predecessor, but that display will be taller, and curved. It is rumored to include a 6.4-inch display. The Galaxy S11 and S11+, on the other hand, will probably ship with 6.7 and 6.9-inch panels, respectively.
Samsung’s upcoming flagships are expected to land in February
The Galaxy S11 series is expected to arrive in February next year. The company will probably announce those three devices prior to the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.
Samsung is expected to announce both 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy S11 phones, but it remains to be seen what variants will be available in 5G iterations.
The Galaxy Fold 2 may actually arrive with the Galaxy S11 series. The original Galaxy Fold did land along with the Galaxy S10, so who knows.
The Galaxy S11, S11e, and S11+ did surface in CAD-based renders already. All three devices got shared by @OnLeaks quite recently, even though the Galaxy S11+ information may not have been accurate. That is something Ice Universe suggested.
In any case, it seems like Samsung is planning to include a rather odd-looking camera setup on the back of these devices. For the most part, though, they will look similar to the Galaxy Note 10 series, but will have less sharp corners.
