Xiaomi is expected to introduce its Mi 10 flagship series in February, and their specs and pricing just surfaced. The information appeared on Weibo, and both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are mentioned.
Xiaomi Mi 10 series specs & pricing shed more light on upcoming flagships
It was mentioned a while back that Xiaomi plans to release both Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in February. Do note that the information surfaced online, it was not confirmed by the company.
Xiaomi did confirm during a Qualcomm Summit, however, that the Mi 10 is coming and that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865G.
According to the provided information, the Xiaomi Mi 10 will feature a 6.5-inch display. That will be an OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. We do not know if it will be curved, though.
This spec sheet also reports that the phone will include four cameras on the back. Sony’s IMX686 sensor will be used for the primary camera. In addition to that, you’ll also get a 20-megapixel camera with an ultrawide lens, and a 12-megapixel unit with a telephoto lens. The last camera on the back will be a 5-megapixel unit, and it will be used as a depth sensor or a macro camera.
It will offer 30x digital zooom
This spec sheet also mentions that the Mi 10 will be capable of utilizing 30x digital zoom. We’re not sure what optical zoom will it provide, up to 5x perhaps.
A 4,500mAh battery will be included in the package as well. You will be able to recharge it using 40W fast wired charging, or 30W fast wireless charging. 10W reverse wireless charging will also be an option.
Dual-mode 5G will be included, and the same goes for NFC. The phone will ship in three configurations, according to this information. The most affordable unit will include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the middle-of-the-road one will ship with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The most expensive variant will include 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Price points haven’t really been highlighted properly, as only the first digit is visible. All three units will cost less than CNY4,000 ($575), though, even the most expensive unit. Those are prices in China, though.
The ‘Pro’ model coming with faster charging, better camera setup
Now, in terms of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, the display info has not been mentioned, any of that info. It is possible, however, that it will include the very same display as the Mi 10.
The source does mention that the phone will include four cameras on the back, with a 108-megapixel main unit. In addition to that camera, you’ll also get 48, 12, and 8-megapixel cameras.
A 4,500mAh battery will be included inside of this phone as well, but with faster charging. The Mi 10 Pro will support 66W fast wired charging, and 40W wireless charging. Reverse wireless charging has not been mentioned, but it will probably support it.
The Xiaomi MI 10 Pro is coming in three configurations as well. All three of them will include 12GB of RAM. Those three configurations will ship with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage, respectively.
Price tags for the Mi 10 Pro have been clearly stated. The entry-level model will cost CNY3,799 ($546), the one with 256GB of storage will be priced at CNY4,099 ($589), while the most expensive unit will cost CNY4,499 ($646). There you have it, those are the expected Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro specs and pricing. Do take this info with a grain of salt, though.
