Black Desert Mobile Update Prepares For Upcoming Sorceress Class

Black Desert Mobile is preparing for the addition of the Sorceress class next week with its latest update.

While the update doesn’t include the new class as that arrives on January 29 officially, it does include all the necessary pre-download files for the class when next week’s update is here.

The update also includes a couple of new game modes for players to sink their teeth into. Alongside general fixes and improvements to make the game quality better overall.

The update officially arrived early morning on January 21. With maintenance for it finishing up around 5 AM PST.

Pre-registering for the Sorceress update gets you rewards

I an effort to get people excited for the new class, Pearl Abyss is giving out rewards to anyone who registers for update notifications on the Sorceress arrival.

Once you register, you’ll receive a notification in-game to claim your rewards, but you can only claim them on one character. So if you want them for the Sorceress, save them for when you can create one.

The rewards can be claimed up until February 28, and you have until January 29 to register. Which you can do here.

The update includes two new game modes

The update that landed yesterday morning includes two new game modes. So it wasn’t all about preparing the game for the new class update on the 29th.

One of those new modes is called the Asula’s Den and is part of an event called the Asula Bandits. This is an event that requires players to enter the bandits den and defeat them.

Players can only enter the Asula’s Den during the set times for the vent, which is between 12:00 and 22:00 server time. The event is live as of today, so players should be able to participate soon.

There are other requirements however. First, players can only participate in manual mode, meaning you can’t use the auto feature to clear the den while AFK. You also need to have a black spirit level of 30 before you can participate.

Lastly, you can only clear the den for rewards once per day. Asula Bandit’s will last until January 28, the day before the Sorceress class is added to the game.

The second mode added as part of this recent update is called Siege War, which is essentially a large battle between guilds to take control of specific regions.

Black Desert Mobile also recently patched the game to allow the unlocking of max settings for any device earlier this month. Though turning everything up is only recommended if you have a phone with specs to support it.
