New Trailer For Open-World MMO 'Dragon Raja' Reveals Characters

Dragon Raja is an upcoming open-world MMO for Android and iOS that features a blend of fantasy, Sci-Fi and Cyber Punk themes, and a new trailer is giving interested players a first-look at the game’s main characters.

Up until now there hasn’t been much detail on the characters that players would have access to. But the trailer, released yesterday officially, showcases the different playable classes that you can choose from.

There’s not much information on the classes in the form of more complex details, but the trailer does reveal a little bit about each character’s play style.

The Dragon Raja trailer shows five character classes

In total it looks like there will be five character classes to choose from in Dragon Raja. The game’s creators, Archosaur Games, don’t seem to have given out official names to the classes yet.

Though the characters themselves do have names, and those include Luminous, Ceasar, Johann, Nono, and Erii. Each character will take on the role of a different class type with a different play style. Meaning unique attacks and special abilities.

Based on the footage in the trailer there will be a mix of melee and range classes. Ceasar for example is a dual-wielding gun type. So his attacks will be ranged and likely fairly quick.

Nono also appears to wield guns, though hers is more of a mini-gun type. So her attacks will be range, but probably slower while also dealing heavier damage. Erii meanwhile appears to carry a katana, so she would probably be melee.

Overall it looks like the game will feature enough compelling combat types to keep things interesting.

The game arrives next month, will feature unique physics systems

One thing that you don’t see in many games let alone MMOs is realistic interactions with the world you’re playing in. At least not in the same way you will in Dragon Raja.

The game will release next month, with pre-registration already open on Google Play. Once it launches, players who hop into the game will be able to run around an open expansive world filled with day and night cycles, seasonal cycles, and even interactive terrain.

For example players may “slip if running on icy surfaces” or cause damage to surrounding structures during combat if they’re not careful. This sort of interaction with the game’s world makes it feel more alive and should make for very interesting experiences.

The game will also feature multiple endings, player-driven environments and plots, and NPCs that react to the ways you treat them. If you like MMOs on mobile this is one to keep your eye on.
