Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 10, may arrive on the same day as the Galaxy S20 series. Samsung had confirmed that the Galaxy S20 will launch on February 11, and a new rumor from China claims that the Xiaomi Mi 10 is coming on the same day.
If that ends up happening, the Xiaomi Mi 10 will probably launch before the Galaxy S20. That will probably happen regardless of whether it’ll be launched in China, or on a global scale.
Xiaomi had already confirmed that the Mi 10 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Rumors are claiming that both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will launch at the same time.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 may arrive on the same day as the Galaxy S20, but this is only a rumor
Do note that the Xiaomi Mi 10 launch date is still a rumor, so there’s a chance that it may not launch on the same day as the Galaxy S20. Xiaomi still hasn’t confirmed anything, so we’ll have to wait.
This is not the only piece of the Xiaomi Mi 10 information that surfaced. The Xiaomi Mi 10’s rear camera setup also showed up online, its front panel, and the phone’s AnTuTu score.
If you take a look at the provided image below this article, you’ll get to see the phone’s back side. Everything but the rear camera setup is blurred out, though.
It is easy to notice that the phone will be made out of metal and glass, though. It’s also easy to notice that its sides will be curved, as they were on the Xiaomi Mi 9.
Now, regarding the camera setup, you’ll notice four cameras here. Those cameras are vertically aligned, and the whole camera setup will protrude on the back.
The device’s leaked front panel hints at a curved display, really thin bezels
The phone’s alleged front panel also appeared. You can take a look at it below this paragraph. As you can see, it offers extremely thin bezels, and curved sides, which suggests the phone’s display will be curved. This front panel does not include any display holes, but the final product probably will.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 (or Mi 10 Pro) also surfaced on AnTuTu. The phone managed to score 560,217 points on AnTuTu, and the listing also confirms that the Snapdragon 865 is fueling the device.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 is expected to include a 90Hz display, while the ‘Pro’ model may arrive with a 120Hz one. The Mi 10 Pro is rumored to include a slightly smaller battery, but faster charging, at 66W (compared to 30W one).
It remains to be seen if these two devices will arrive on February 11. Xiaomi is expected to announce them in Q1 2020, but we’ll see if it will be on the same day as the Galaxy S20.
