Lost Words: Beyond The Page Comes To Stadia On March 27

Lost Words: Beyond the Page is an indie title coming to Stadia this year. It was recently announced as coming soon, and in fact it’s a lot sooner than you may think.

Google has now confirmed that it will be launching on the platform on March 27. It hasn’t announced how much the game will cost yet.

It’s an indie title though so players should expect it to cost $30 or below. As that’s a common price range for many indie titles. Players should also remember that Lost Words is going to be a Stadia timed exclusive.

Lost Words will be a timed exclusive on Stadia for One Year

Stadia doesn’t have any proper exclusives yet. What it does have is timed exclusives with titles like GYLT and Spitlings.

Now it will be able to add Lost Words: Beyond the Page to that mix. And what’s more is that it will be exclusive on the platform for one whole year. So if the game looks interesting to you, you’ll need Stadia to play it.

It will eventually launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC but that won’t be happening until 2021. If you prefer those platforms though, thankfully 2020 is packed full of awesome upcoming games for each of them, so you’ll have more than enough to fill up your time while you wait.

Modus Games will launch additional indie titles on Stadia in 2020

Lost words isn’t the only game coming to the platform. Modus Games has announced that in addition to this game, it will have two more titles coming to Stadia throughout the year.

These games will be Rock of Ages 3, and Cris Tales. The latter received a Stadia announcement trailer that has been uploaded to the Modus Games YouTube channel and which you can watch below.

Neither of these two games will be Stadia exclusives as it was confirmed that they would be hitting other platforms at the same time. So you’ll have your pick of where to play them once they launch.

Earlier in 2020 Google announced that it would be releasing more than 120 games onto Stadia throughout the year. Some of those will be indie titles and some will not. Some will also be timed exclusives. Like Lost Words: Beyond the Page.

The platform is also due to get some big AAA games as well. With DOOM Eternal likely being the first major heavy hitter when it launches at the end of March. And if Stadia wants to keep many of its subscribers engaged it’ll need some of those bigger title to land as soon as possible.
