Ulefone has decided to create a new video, and publish it on YouTube. This time around, the company decided to conduct several drop tests using three phones, the Armor 7, Armor X3, and iPhone X.
The iPhone X is outmatched by the Armor 7 when drop tests are concerned
Some may say that this is an unfair comparison, as the first two phones are rugged, while the iPhone X is not. Well, that is true, but if you’re still interested in checking out the results, well, go for it.
The company’s video is embedded below this article. The video itself has a duration of about two minutes, and you’ll see quite a few drops tests here.
The first drop test is a pretty mild one, from 30cm. All three phones did great here. The next two tests have seen these phones dropped from 60cm and 1.5m, and all three phones survived.
The drop test that was fatal for the iPhone X was the one from 1.8m. The iPhone X’s glass shattered when the phone got dropped from that height onto the concrete floor, and that is hardly surprising.
The phone’s back got shattered, while the bottom left corner of the back side got exposed, as the glass raised a bit. This drop did not affect the Armor 7 or Armor X3.
Such results were expected. The iPhone X does come with a stainless steel frame, but it’s still extremely fragile. The phone has glass both on the back and on the front, and it’s hard to expect it will survive a drop from 1.8m onto the concrete floor. That is basically the takeaway from these Armor 7 vs iPhone X drop tests.
The Armor 7 and Armor X3 are both rugged phones, as already mentioned. Both of these phones are considerably more affordable than the iPhone X, needless to say.
The Armor 7 is considerably more powerful than the Armor X3
The Armor 7 is more powerful than the Armor X3, though. That handset comes with the Helio P90 64-bit octa-core processor, and 8GB of RAM. It includes 128GB of internal storage, and three cameras on the back.
A huge 5,500mAh battery is also included in this phone, and the device supports wireless charging. The Armor 7 also includes a 6.3-inch display, and a fingerprint scanner.
The Armor X3, on the other hand, sports a quad-core processor, and 2GB of RAM. The phone also sports 32GB of internal storage, and a 5.5-inch display. A 5,000mAh battery is packed inside of this phone.
The Ulefone Armor 7 is actually discounted as we speak. You can grab this smartphone for $369.99 via AliExpress, the purchase link is included below.
