Samsung’s upcoming mid-ranger, the Galaxy A41, is nearing its market release. The handset has just bagged the FCC certification in the US, hinting at an imminent launch. The Galaxy A41 has already been approved by the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG. It has also received a certification from Safety Korea.
These certifications have revealed a few of its specifications in the process. The Samsung Galaxy A41 will be a dual SIM phone with model number Samsung SM-A415F/DSN. It will support Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, 15W fast charging, NFC and 4G.
The handset will measure 149.8 x 69.8mm in dimensions and 159.5 mm diagonally. The display will measure 151.5 mm diagonally, so it should be a 6-inch panel.
The Galaxy A41 will ship with Android 10 out of the box, with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 on top.
Rumors have it that the Galaxy A41 will be powered by the 1.70GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor. It is a 12nm process featuring two Cortex-A75 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
The presence of a MediaTek chipset suggests that the Galaxy A41 could be an ODM device. Instead of Samsung, it would be made by a third-party manufacturer.
Samsung might offer the Galaxy A 41 in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB internal storage options. Storage capacity will be further expandable via a microSD card.
Galaxy A41 renders reveal a triple rear camera setup
Renders of the Samsung Galaxy A41 were seen earlier this month. The device features an AMOLED Infinity-U display with the waterdrop notch housing a single selfie camera. It is reportedly a 25-megapixel sensor.
On the back of this handset is a triple camera setup. One of the three cameras is a 48-megapixel primary sensor, while the other two sensors could be an ultrawide-angle camera and a macro camera. The camera bump on the back also houses an LED flash.
The Galaxy A41 gets an in-display fingerprint sensor, which should be an optical unit, similar to the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71.
The whole package is fueled by a 3,500mAh battery that charges through a USB Type-C port. This device also keeps the 3.5mm headphone jack. It could hit the shelves in black, white, and red color options.
The Galaxy A41 launch date is still a mystery for now. However, all the clues so far suggest that an official announcement is just around the corner. We will likely hear some words from Samsung in the coming weeks.
