Motorola Edge+ Flagship Design Revealed Via Leaked Renders

The Motorola Edge+ flagship is expected to launch soon, and its design just got revealed in leaked renders. These images have been shared by Pricebaba, in collaboration with OnLeaks.

These are CAD-based renders, in case you were wondering. OnLeaks is usually spot on with these designs, so we’d say that these renders are showing an actual phone that will launch soon.

Motorola still did not say when will this handset launch or anything like that, but the information has been circulating for quite some time. That makes us believe that the launch is coming soon.

These Motorola Edge+ renders reveal the design of the device, in detail

As you can see in the provided images, and video, the device will be made out of metal and glass. The phone will also include thin bezels, and a waterfall display.

Its bottom bezel will be the thickest, it seems. The power / lock, volume up, and volume down buttons will be located on the right. The phone will also include a display camera hole, which will be located in the top-left corner of the display. That hole is really small in these renders.

The back side of the phone will also be curved, and seemingly proportional to the front. The phone will include three cameras in the top-left corner of its back side. Those cameras will be vertically-aligned.

All three cameras will be a part of the same camera module, and an LED flash will sit beside them, along with some additional sensors. Motorola’s logo will be placed on the back as well.

You will notice that there are some lights implemented around the logo in these images. That may suggest that we’ll get a rear-facing LED notification light, which is better than nothing, for sure.

The phone will sport a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is quite surprising. That audio jack will be placed on the top of the device. On the bottom, you’ll notice a Type-C USB port, and a loudspeaker grille next to it.

The phone will be quite narrow, and thicker than most flagships out there

The source says that the phone will measure 161.1 x 71.3 x 9.5mm (11.5mm with a camera bump). So, it will be thicker than most flagships these days, but it will also be narrower than most of them.

These dimensions suggest that the phone will include a rather tall display ratio. The source also notes that the Motorola Edge+’s display will measure somewhere between 6.5 and 6.8 inches. An in-display will also be a part of the package, and we’re guessing it will be an optical one.

Rumored specs for this handset suggest that it will include 6.67-inch fullHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 865 will fuel the Motorola Edge+, while the phone will include 8GB or 12GB of RAM. A 5,170mAh battery was also mentioned, and so was 5G connectivity.
