Bandai Namco in partnership with Crunchyroll Games has officially launched Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes for browsers today.
Officially this is for PC and Mac browsers. And this is not the Android version that is going to launch a little bit later this year. Though you can already pre-register for that version on Google Play.
The launch of the game quickly followed a brief early access period for those that pre-registered. Which was available as early as March 2. Now though anyone that wants to play the game can do so even if they didn’t pre-register for it.
Naruto x Boruto Ninja Tribes can be played via mobile browsers
Even though this isn’t the Android version of the game you can still play it on your phone. Because it works perfectly in mobile browsers too.
If there is one downside, it’s that the game’s user interface in a mobile browser is no doubt going to be a bit smaller than the proper Android version. This is because the UI doesn’t take up the entirety of the phone screen. Whereas the Android version will.
If this bothers you, then you may want to wait for the Android version of the game before you play it. The cool thing is that since it’s available via browsers now, you can at least check it out and get a feel for what the game is like and how it feels when playing it.
If you want to play the game in your mobile browser you can find it here. Keep in mind you will need to create and log into your Bandai Namco account.
You can still pick up a reward post-launch
The pre-registration period may be over which means you can no longer get the rewards associated with it. You can still grab at least one reward though if play the game early enough and complete the tutorial.
If you get through that early portion of the game, you’ll end up with a free powerful character. That character will be Naruto Uzumaki Seventh Hokage “The Power To Protect.” You will also end up getting ten character summon tickets.
Those will let you summon one single character per ticket. And if you’re lucky enough you might even get some more powerful characters. Which would you give you a nice boost over other players and over your enemies.
There’s no word yet on when the Android version is releasing. Given that the browser version is now out though, the Android version can’t be too far behind.
