The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 concept design has surfaced online. This time around, Waqar Khan partnered up with Windows United in order to release this design.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 concept is shown in several images that you can check out in the gallery below the article. As you can see, this design is much nicer-looking than the actual design of the first-gen Galaxy Fold.
This Galaxy Fold 2 concept looks much better than the original Galaxy Fold
The designer trimmed down the bezels a lot, while it also added a camera setup from the Galaxy S20 series on the back of this phone. As you can see, bezels on the outer display are a lot thinner.
That part of the phone is now almost entirely covered by the display, while a waterdrop notch is also included. The inner display also has extremely thin bezels, though it does include a display camera hole. The point is, that extremely thick notch from the Galaxy Fold is nowhere to be found.
You’ll notice five cameras on the back of this phone, which are a part of the same camera module. That camera module is placed in the top-left corner, and resembles the ones from the Galaxy S20 series.
You can also see the S Pen stylus in these images. The Galaxy Fold 2 will, allegedly include such a stylus, so the designer wanted to include one as well.
The device is shown in several color options
The Galaxy Fold 2 is shown in several color variants in these concept images. It comes in Pink, Purple, Yellow, Black, and White colors. The actual Galaxy Fold 2 will probably ship in one color only, or perhaps two.
To make things even more interesting, the source actually envisioned some specifications for this phone as well.
The source envisioned a 7.3-inch (2152 x 1536) AMOLED display for this device. We’re talking about an inner display here, of course, the outer one was not mentioned at all.
Interestingly enough, they want the Snapdragon 855 to be included inside. The Galaxy Fold 2 will almost certainly pack in the Snapdragon 865. 12GB of RAM is included inside of this imaginary phone, along with 512GB of storage.
A 4,235mAh battery is also included, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. To make things even more interesting, this concept got envisioned with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
That’s pretty much it. You can check out the phone in the gallery down below. The real Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to arrive in August, alongside the Galaxy Note 20. Coronavirus pandemic may postpone its launch, though, it all depends on how long will it last.
