In light of the Coronavirus Pandemic that is currently sweeping the world, Sling TV is offering free access to news and on-demand content, including Kids Content.
This is going to be a big help for those with kids, since schools are out for the foreseeable future right now.
Sling TV says that the free experience includes ABC News Live which is a 24/7 streaming video news channel for breaking news and live events. It is also offering up thousands of movies and shows suitable for kids and families. Now if you do want more content, you can still sign up for Sling TV, starting at $20 per month – right now you can get $10 off the first month.
How to access the Sling TV Free Experience
You can experience Sling TV through an app download on Roku, Amazon or Android device, or by visiting the website in Chrome, Safari or Edge. And then follow the directions on screen.
Now current subscribers are able to access this free content within the user interface on any Sling TV device. Current users won’t need to change their subscription either.
As mentioned, if you want more news or don’t like ABC News, you can subscribe to Sling Blue, which offers more news channels. And the first month will be $20. It is normally $30, but currently you can save $10 on the first month. Sling offers a ton of the most popular channels available, including CNN, FOX news, MSNBC, ESPN and much more. Though, with sports being canceled right now, the Sling Orange bundle isn’t really worth getting since it adds a lot of sports channels from ESPN and Fox.
Sling TV is a really good option for a lot of people that are looking to keep up with all of the news surrounding the Coronavirus right now, but don’t want to pay any more money. Especially considering a lot of people are out of work and may not be getting paid. Spending money on food is more important than on a TV. And having a ton of kids content that you can put on the TV for your kids to watch, for free, is also very useful. Especially since almost all kids are home from school now, for at least a month, if not longer.
You can check out the Sling TV Free experience here, and also subscribe if you want more content. It’s the cheapest live TV streaming service available.
