April is just around the corner and that means new games for Stadia Pro members.
In fact Google has now officially mentioned what the games will be that you can pick up at no cost. Starting April 1, Stadia Pro members will get Spitlings, The Serious Sam Collection, and Stacks On Stacks (On Stacks).
Three games for free is not necessarily the norm for Stadia when it comes to the Pro deals. Usually it’s two, and in Google’s official wording prior to launch it notes that Pro members would get at least one.
Meaning they’d have the possibility of getting only one some months. That will sometimes be the case, though probably only when the game is a bigger title and not smaller indie offerings like Spitlings and Stacks On Stacks (On Stacks).
Stadia Pro members also get new discounts until April 1
Three free games is a generous offer, even if they are smaller indie titles and an older collection like Serious Sam.
The generosity doesn’t stop there though. Google is also adding in some new discounts for Pro members. These will only be available until April 1, so if you want to snag the deals then you should probably do so as soon as you possibly can.
Those deals are discounts on The Crew 2, which just launched yesterday for users in Europe (because it was already March 25) and early this morning for users in the US.
There are three versions of The Crew 2 that can be purchased. The Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition, and the Gold Edition. The base game by itself is on sale for just $15 right now. If you bump to the Deluxe Edition you will pay just $18.
Or you can pick up the Gold Edition which is on sale for $27. You can also pick up the Season Pass for the game at just $20 right now, but there’s no reason to really do that because the Season Pass is included with the Gold Edition for $27.
If you buy the Season Pass at $20, you still need the base game to go along with it which is $15, so you end up spending $35.
Lost Words: Beyond The Page launches Friday & Borderlands 3 gets a new add-on
Stadia users still have a couple more things to look forward to this week. A new indie title called Lost Words: Beyond The Page will release this Friday at $15.
This is a platformer game with plenty of adventure and should be a great title for the more casual players or any one just looking for a more casual gaming experience. Especially after all that destruction in DOOM Eternal.
On Thursday there’s also a new add-on coming for Borderlands 3. This will be Guns, Love, And Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock. This will cost $15 as a standalone add-on, but it’s completely free if you have the Season Pass.
